Track Athletes Qualify for Provincials

On May 7–8, the varsity track and field team competed at the Zone Championships at Swangaard Stadium in Burnaby. The team had an outstanding two days of competition, with numerous athletes performing personal bests and a number of athletes qualifying for the provincial championships. The coaches congratulate all team members for their dedication over the season. Athletes have trained hard all spring, attending early morning practices at UBC and league meets. This year, over 60 students competed at league meets, with the majority of athletes qualifying for the Zone Championships.  
Our provincial qualifiers will head to Kelowna May 30–June 1 to compete at the BC High School Track and Field Championships. Top performers from the Zone Championships include:
