Based on parent and teacher feedback, we have kept the two homeroom teacher sessions so parents can choose the session that best suits them. This also gives parents who have multiple children at the school the opportunity to attend more homeroom sessions. Like last year, we will continue to use an asynchronous way to hear from many subject specialist teachers. As always, the purpose of Curriculum Night is for parents to connect with their child’s homeroom teacher and learn more about our curriculum. We look forward to virtually welcoming all of you into your children’s classrooms and speaking with you!
Since 1996, West Point Grey Academy has gratefully resided on the Jericho Lands, the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Nation and sə̓lílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation. Honoured to learn and play on these beautiful lands, we endeavour to be a leader in Indigenous education. In creating shared understanding and opportunities, we hope to help foster a more equitable society for all.
