India Service Trip 2020

By John Wang ’20

Attention students in grade 9 or higher! WPGA is exploring an opportunity to travel to India as our Global Studies/International Service trip for the 2019–2020 school year. If enough students show interest, the two-week trip would take place over Spring Break 2020. This is extremely exciting for the school as WPGA has not travelled to India before.

The group (15–20 students plus chaperones) would travel to the Rajasthan region of India. While there, students will visit historical landmarks, volunteer with charities such as Mother Teresa charities and volunteer at other organizations, such as an elephant sanctuary. Trip activities will be similar to this trip

Students in grade 9 or higher who have completed Level II service (Level IV completion is recommended by the time the trip takes place) are eligible to sign up. The estimated cost is $4,500-$5,000, dependent on the itinerary, and includes flights, food, supervision, accommodation, and program fees. If interested, please discuss with your parents before submitting this form.
