With the weather finally improving, we hope your child is looking forward to their summer break after the completion of their exams or other school related activities next week.
This is a reminder that on Thursday, June 16, our Senior Closing and Graduation Ceremony will be held at the Chan Center for Performing Arts at UBC for all grade 7-12 students. This important event is a wonderful opportunity for those parents of our younger grades to see the tremendous successes of our graduates and also illustrates how the WPGA experience culminates at the senior level. Tickets for the event are free and will be available at the Chan Centre box office immediately prior to the ceremony. Attendance for students in grades 7 through 12 is mandatory.
The Chan Centre will be open for general admission at 2:30pm, but students are asked to meet with their homerooms/advisors at 2:20pm sharp outside the front entrance of the venue (see attached photo) and will enter the assembly together. As this is a formal occasion, please note that full ceremonial winter uniform will be worn by all students.
The ceremony will end between 5:30-6:00pm, followed immediately by a reception in the atrium of the Chan. We look forward to seeing you there.

Honoured to learn and play on these beautiful lands, we endeavour to be a leader in Indigenous education. In creating shared understanding and opportunities, we hope to help foster a more equitable society for all.
