Swimmers Win Silver at Zones

On October 23, the Wolves swim team competed at the zones meet at Watermania in Richmond. We had an impressive showing, placing 2nd in all divisions (boys, girls and team), and 31 team members qualified for the BC championships November 13-14 in Kamloops. 

More Zones Highlights
  • Mackenzie Gunther and Kiersten Gilberg came 1st and 2nd in the girls 50-metre freestyle.
  • Frank Zhou placed 2nd in the 50-metre freestyle. 
  • Justin Leung captured 1st in the 50-metre backstroke.  
  • The boys placed 1st in a thrilling 400-metre freestyle relay against Saint's, setting a school record of 3:55.27.  
  • The girls placed 1st in the 200-metre freestyle relay, with a record 1:49.75. 
  • Rookie Jocelyn Chambers qualified in four of four events at her first zones!
