Varsity Swim Meet October 3

By Emma Miao '22, Varsity Swim Team Co-Captain

On Saturday, October 3, the Wolves varsity swim team competed in our first "Covid Cup" swim meet. Three teams battled for first place in the WPGA pool, with each team member racing in four events out of the seven races, which included the 400-metre freestyle. The results were close, but team Scuba Squad prevailed!

  • Team 1 "Scuba Squad": 434 points
  • Team 2 "Smells like Team Spirit": 408 points
  • Team 3: "Flying Fish": 410 points
Great job to all 43 team members who competed, and an extra shout out to rookie sensations Andrew Li '25 and Isabella Sanidas '25 for sweeping their respective events. Which team will win the ultimate Covid Cup? We’ll find out in two weeks when the teams battle again. Go, Wolves!

Note: The meet was run in cohort groups, followed all safety protocols, and was supervised by coaches Mr. Read and Ms. Leblanc.
