French Story Sharing for Grade 12 & Grade 7 Students

By Ms. Lauren Bell, Head of Languages, Junior School

On April 27, sixteen grade 12 students visited French 7SC to share their original stories. Senior students have been working on using passé composé and imparfait in context, and each student wrote and illustrated an original story to share.  In addition, the grade 12 students took turns filming each other as they read to their grade 7 partners so they could be assessed on their spoken proficiency.

Our French 7 students were able to rotate through several times and hear a variety of interesting tales to build their listening comprehension.

Merci beaucoup, Mme. Guillois, for creating opportunities for us to learn French together!
