The Wolves made a splash at Provincials last weekend, when we showcased months of commitment, early mornings, and tough practices. From the moment the swimmers stepped onto the pool deck, the energy and team spirit were high.
The Wolves set three new school records: Calder Cannell ’27 in the 50m Butterfly (B), and Benny Lin ’27, Adrian Lee ’26, Andrew Zhong ’29, and Jonah Moon ’28 in 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay (OPEN) AND 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay (OPEN).
A huge congratulations to our girls relay team of Sarah Nazif ’26, Cadelle Roberts ’26, Natalie Zheng ’28 and Moya Steer ’27 for capturing gold in the 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay (B) and silver in the 4 x 50m Freestyle Relay (B). The boys relay team, featuring Calder Cannell ’27, Eric Miao ’28, Adrian Lu ’27, and Ethan Ho ’26, earned an impressive second place in the 4 x 100m Freestyle Relay (B).
We are incredibly grateful to all the parents and staff who came out to volunteer and cheer on our swimmers. Thank you to Mr. Wong, Mr. Garinger, Sensei, and a special shoutout to Mr. Barnum for the Wolves fan chains proudly worn by many parents.
Even during the most challenging races, swimmers encouraged each other, celebrated every finish, and stayed focused on performing their best. By the end of the long two days, the Wolves became the Girls AA and Boys AA swimming provincial champions!
On behalf of all the captains and coaches, we are so proud of this incredible season. Way to go, Wolves!
