Junior School Swim Team Performs Well

At the recent St. George's Invitational meet, WPGA finished a strong third place overall.

On November 26, the junior school swim team participated in the Saint’s Invitational swim meet at St. George’s pool. The team displayed their fantastic skills and had some terrific results.

Some of the many highlights were:
  • The grade 5 mixed team of Kelvin Jiang, Malika Agarwal, Jason Chen and Delaney Molnar set a new meet record in the 4 x 50m medley relay!
  • Jocelyn Chambers came in 2nd place in the 50m Free and in the 100m IM.
  • Kaitlyn Nitta and Emma Brooks did an excellent job in the 50m Flutter Kick swim, coming in first and second.
  • Emma Brooks had an amazing swim in the 25m Free, placing first.
  • Claire Osborne placed fourth and Lily Douglas placed fifth in the 50m Flutter Kick.
  • Bronwyn Curin did an excellent job, placing third in the 50m Flutter Kick.
  • Maggie Pope and Logan Fung had a great finish in the 50m Flutter Kick, placing seventh and eighth.
  • Davis Timko came in first for the 50m Flutter Kick and the 25m Backstroke.
  • Sean Li had an amazing swim for the 50m Flutter Kick, coming in first.
  • Malcom Sinclair and Joe McDonald placed a strong third and fourth in the 50m Flutter Kick.
  • Maya Schwartz-Dardick swam amazingly well, finishing third in the 50m Free.
  • Hailey Chen and Claire Osborne had a great finish, placing second and third in the 25m Free.
  • Cadence Gunther and Georgia Rogers swam well, placing seventh and tenth in the 25m Free.
  • Paige Morrison placed first in the 25m Free and the 25m Backstroke.
  • Jordan Pallai had an excellent swim in the 25m Free and the 25m Backstroke, placing second.
  • Lavina Yuen had a strong finish in the 25m Breaststroke, placing first.
  • Malcom Sinclair and Jacob Shew finished eighth and ninth in the 25m Free.
  • Leah Stevenson had a great finish in the 25m Breaststroke, placing second.
  • Hailey Chen had an excellent swim, finishing first in the 25m Breaststroke and 25m Backstroke.
  • Kieran Healey had an awesome swim in the 25m Kick Board race.
  • Brooklyn Fung had an amazing swim, placing fifth in the 25m Breaststroke.
  • Lucas Hunter-Walsh also had a nice finish, coming in sixth in the 25m Breaststroke.
  • Oliver Stevenson had a strong finish, placing third in the 25m Backstroke.
  • Victoria Zhao had an excellent swim, finishing fourth in the 50m Backstroke.
  • Malika Agarwal and Hadley Gunther had their best swim yet, finishing second and sixth and the 100m IM.
  • Giselle Steiner finished an amazing first place in the 100m Breaststroke and in the 100m Fly.
  • Erin Brooks swam amazingly well, finishing fourth in the 100m IM.
  • Jacqueline Molnar had an amazing finish, coming in second in the 100m Backstroke and third in the 100m IM.
  • Mackenzie Gunther finished strong, coming in first in the 50m Fly.
  • Kelvin Jiang, Jason Chen and Varun Patel all had excellent swims in the 100m.
  • Alex Kambolis had a great finish, coming in first in the 100m Fly.
  • Emily Hardey and Sarissa Chew all swam amazingly in the 50m Backstroke.
  • Caroline Do finished a strong first place in the 50m Fly.
  • Peggy Li, Irene He and Lauren Quan all had strong finishes in the 50m Backstroke.
  • Jacob Bourne had a strong fourth place finish in the 50m Backstroke, with Gavin Pringle, and Tristan Miura not far behind.
  • Delaney Molnar had a great swim, finishing first in the 100m Fly.
  • Charlie Rose had a strong swim, coming in fourth in the 100m Backstroke.
  • Gabrielle Sanatani finished third in the 100m Breaststroke.
  • Herman Li had a great race, finishing eighth in the 50m Free.
  • Thomas Sze swam his hardest, finishing a great sixth place in the 100m Free.
  • And Lola Lee swam great in every event!
The WPGA Wolves girls and boys finished an amazing second place in their respective team scores, and WPGA finished a strong third place overall.
