We are offering another SAT preparation course this April for grade 10 and 11 students interested in taking the SAT on May 4. We are very pleased to partner with Frazer Roland of
Can-Am Test Prep Academy. Mr. Roland will be conducting the course, which includes four sessions: April 13, 19, 20 and 27.
Registration DetailsTo register, please email
senior reception with your name, grade level and the sessions you would like to attend. Course registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis and is limited to 25 students. The fee is $150 plus HST per session or $500 plus HST for all four sessions. A $150 deposit is required by February 15; the deposit will secure your spot and will be applied to the session fee. Please give your deposit to senior reception.
Required Materials
Students may purchase their own SAT prep book (2nd edition), if desired (to order, click here; the book is about $15 plus shipping, which may be free if two students order together). Students MUST have this book one month before the first course.
Handout Packages
There is also a $10 fee for the handout packages given at each session. Please bring this fee to the first class on April 13.

Session Agenda - Saturday, April 13, 20 and 27:
• 9:30am-12:30pm: Morning session
• 12:30pm-1pm: Lunch (provided) *It is preferred students stay on school grounds for lunch.
• 1pm-4pm: Afternoon session

Frazer Roland, Can-Am Test Prep Academy
Frazer Roland taught SAT prep in the United States from 2003 to 2005. He also worked for Studyworks, one of the major SAT prep companies on the U.S. East Coast. Frazer has experience teaching in Washington, Florida and New York and now resides in Vancouver.
Frazer attended the University of British Columbia and graduated from Capilano University College and McMaster University. He majored in Academic Studies and has an Honours degree in Biological Science (he wrote his thesis on the effects of web-based learning on medical students).
Frazer has successfully designed an electronic teaching version for SAT prep, which he uses to prepare students. This visual instruction approach is highly successful and students continually increase their scores after taking his course.
