Junior School Curriculum Night - September 25, 2025

By Mr. Alex Ross, Vice Principal of Learning, Junior School

On Thursday, September 25, we invite you to join us to learn more about our curriculum and connect with your child's homeroom teacher. This year's Curriculum Night will be in person on campus. (Note Senior School Curriculum Night is Thursday, September 18.)

Based on parent feedback, we have kept the two homeroom teacher sessions, so parents can choose the session that best suits their family routine and schedule. This also gives parents who have multiple children at the school the opportunity to attend more homeroom sessions. Like last year, we will continue to use an asynchronous way to hear from many subject specialist teachers, with the exception of our core grade 6 and 7 specialist teachers who will present in person (see schedule below). The primary purpose of Curriculum Night is to connect with the homeroom teacher and to learn more about our curriculum.

Since 1996, West Point Grey Academy has gratefully resided on the Jericho Lands, the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Nation and sə̓lílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation. Honoured to learn and play on these beautiful lands, we endeavour to be a leader in Indigenous education. In creating shared understanding and opportunities, we hope to help foster a more equitable society for all.
