The first two weeks back to school were jam packed with exciting events, and the annual Student Life Club Fair was no exception!
On Thursday, September 11, our very own Senior School basketball court was transformed into a bustling fairground, where over 25 clubs showcased their activities and welcomed countless new members. Students had the chance to ask questions, meet student club leaders, and enter the club fair raffle (congratulations, Sophie Dawe ‘26!).
From the illustrious Dungeons & Dragons Club to the award-winning Model UN and Debate Club, there is truly something for every student in the Senior School.
All five student councils were also in attendance. Beginning this month, all students in grades 8 through 12 will be able to run for representative positions.
A special thank-you goes out to Mr. Johnston, Vice Principal of Student Life, along with all the teacher sponsors and student leaders who made the fair possible.
We can’t wait to see everyone as club meetings begin!
Since 1996, West Point Grey Academy has gratefully resided on the Jericho Lands, the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Nation and sə̓lílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation. Honoured to learn and play on these beautiful lands, we endeavour to be a leader in Indigenous education. In creating shared understanding and opportunities, we hope to help foster a more equitable society for all.
