Grade 6 Girls Volleyball Season Off to a Great Start!
By Ms. Devin St-Amour, Ms. Ying Ma & Mr. Jack Peckham, Coaches
This week the grade 6 Black and Grey Wolves hit the court in spirited volleyball games against Collingwood School. Wearing WPGA orange jerseys honouring the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the team played with determination and pride.
The game was played in the exciting triple ball format, which gave our players plenty of chances to try out their skills and strategies. The Wolves focused on improving their bump, set, and spike plays, working hard to move the ball effectively and support each other on every play. Their teamwork and effort were clear, as they stayed competitive in every set and displayed excellent sportsmanship throughout.
Although the matches were challenging, the girls had fun and kept their energy up, showing the true spirit of the Black and Grey Wolves. With strong serves, solid defence and improved spike attempts, our team made great progress.
The next game is scheduled for October 7 against Southridge, and we’re excited to see what the Wolves will bring to the court next. Let's continue to support them as they keep growing stronger together!

Honoured to learn and play on these beautiful lands, we endeavour to be a leader in Indigenous education.
