Grade 6 Girls Volleyball ISEA Playdate at Harry Jerome

By Ms. Devin St-Amour, Ms. Ying Ma & Mr. Jack Peckham, Coaches

On Monday, October 20, our grade 6 girls' volleyball team capped off their season with an exciting ISEA playdate at Harry Jerome in North Burnaby. The event our players participate in a day-long series of triple ball games. Divided into three teams, each group played five intense games, giving everyone ample time on the court.

Over the course of the season, the girls made remarkable strides in their skills, improving not only their serves but also their bumps, sets, and even spikes. The progress was clear during the playdate as players confidently executed techniques they had been working on throughout practices. It was a proud moment for both the players and their coaches to see how far they had come.

What made the day even more special was the incredible display of fair play. Whether winning or losing, our girls showed respect and camaraderie toward their opponents, cheering each other on, and demonstrating the importance of teamwork. Their enthusiasm and positivity filled the gym, creating a supportive and fun environment for all the teams involved.

This final event served as a great conclusion to a season filled with learning and growth. Our grade 6 girls can look back on their volleyball journey with pride and excitement for what’s to come in future seasons!
