Beaver Computing Challenge

By Mr. Alfred Lu, Computer Science Teacher

Congratulations to the 20 WPGA students who wrote the Beaver Computing Challenge (BCC) on November 4. The BCC focuses on computational and logical thinking, with questions inspired by topics in computer science that require concepts found in math curriculum. This year, over 7,300 students across Canada took the BCC, with an average score of 62.54. Sixteen of our students scored above average, and three students made the honour roll, with a score of 86. Congratulations to Ben Jia '22, Aaron Lu '22 and Derek Xu '21!
