On December 7, the Wolves junior swim team attended the St. George's Junior Swim Meet and returned with amazing results: we finished 2nd overall out of 10 teams, with the girls placing 1st overall and the boys 4th.

Highlights:
• Hailey Chen destroyed the competition for the 100-m freestyle, 100-m IM and 50-m backstroke to capture 2nd place aggregate for grade 5 girls.
• Charlie Ford had an amazing 1st place finish in the 50-m butterfly, 100-m freestyle and 100-m IM for a 1st place aggregate for grade 6 girls.
• Janie Zhang, grade 5, had a strong 3rd place finish in the 50-m backstroke.
• Kaitlyn Nitta, grade 6, had an incredible 1st place finish in the 50-m backstroke and a 2nd place finish in the 50-m freestyle.
• Emma Miao, grade 5, came 2nd in the 50-m breakstroke with Catherlin Lu, grade 5, right behind her in 3rd.
• Jocelyn Chambers and Leslie Chen, grade 7, both had amazing races, finishing 1st in the 50-metre breaststroke.
• The grade 7 girls dominated the 50-metre freestyle event, with Paige Morrison in 1st place, Alice Yang in 2nd and Logan Fung in 3rd.
• Kris Vogel, grade 5, had a great 2nd place finish in the 50-m freestyle.

BIG HIGHLIGHT:
The grade 7 "A" mixed relay team of Paige Morrison, Jocelyn Chambers, Leslie Chen and Nick Deng broke the mixed meet record for medley relays!

Overall, our team had an amazing time and the Wolves' team spirit was out in full force. Congratulations to all our swimmers on a fantastic meet.
