WPGA SUMMER PROGRAMS REGISTRATION: JUNE 23-JULY 10, 2026

WPGA Summer Programs are exciting, educational, safe and FUN! In 2026, we're offering three weeks of camp programming, including technology and STEM camps, athletic and adventure camps, Red Cross Programs and much more! Again this year, we have programs specifically designed for older campers, such as basketball, volleyball, golf, and chef camp. Whatever you love to do, we have a camp for you.

*Campers must be entering kindergarten in September 2026 to register. For registration, please choose the grade that your child is entering in September 2026.

PROGRAM TIMES AND PRICES

Program Dates:
  • Week 1 – June 22-26 
  • Week 2 – June 29-July 3 (4 days only; no camp July 1)
  • Week 3 – July 6-10

Half Day: 9am-12pm OR 1pm-4pm, $290 ($232 for week two)

Full Day: Combine a morning and afternoon program on the same day for $580 ($464 for week two). Children are supervised during lunch and outdoor play in small groups and then escorted to their afternoon camps. Children must bring their own food.
 
Before/After Care: 8am-9am and 4pm-5pm, $125 ($100 for week two) 

Drop-in Before/After Care is also available for $50 per day ($25 per half-day). Please email summer@wpga.ca with the days you need and we will add charges for those days to your camp account.

    You will be able to add weeks or camps to your registration at any time. However, if you wish to drop or switch camps, please contact us

    If your preferred camp is full, feel free to add it to your child's waitlist. We will review waitlists and may add extra sections to our most sought-after camps.

    If you need to step away from your registration partway through, the system will reserve your camp choices for 50 minutes, after which they will be reopened to the public.


  • WPGA ILLNESS SAFETY POLICIES

    • If campers are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, they should stay home and not attend camp. Those experiencing symptoms while at camp will be sent home until they are fully recovered. 
  • WPGA PROGRAM AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

    • For sessions cancelled with more than two weeks notice from the start of the first day of camp, a $50 processing fee applies (refund minus $50).
    • For sessions cancelled with less than two weeks notice from the start of the first day of camp, there are no refunds.  
    • For sessions missed due to illness, please email us. In some cases, a make-up session may be offered.
    • WPGA retains the right to cancel camps due to low enrolment.

Superheroes Training Camp

K–1

Superheroes Training Camp is an action-packed adventure for K–1 students ready to discover their inner powers. Through imaginative play, crafts, obstacle courses, and teamwork challenges, children practise courage, kindness, and cooperation. Each day brings new missions that build confidence, resilience, and independence.

Astronaut Camp

Blast off into an out-of-this-world adventure at Astronaut Camp! Throughout the week, space-themed STEM activities, cosmic crafts, and imaginative play keep young explorers engaged in discovery and fun. Stories about planets, rockets, and astronauts help spark curiosity and wonder as students learn more about the universe beyond Earth.

Little Picassos

K–1

Little Picassos is a vibrant and creative camp for K–1 students who love to paint, craft, build, and explore through art. Children experiment with a variety of materials while developing fine motor skills, confidence, and self-expression. Guided projects and open-ended creation time encourage imagination and creativity.

Teddy Tea Time

Embark on a delightful adventure with enchanting tales, cozy tea parties, and teddy-bear picnic memories. Children learn good manners, explore fairy tales, bake treats, and enjoy tea-time gatherings. Bring a favourite stuffed companion for extra fun!

Witch and Wizard Academy

Embark on a spellbinding adventure at our Witch and Wizard Academy, specially crafted for our youngest sorcerers. Spells, potions, games, and magical crafts bring imagination and problem-solving to life. Creativity and teamwork shine in a whimsical week of wonder.

Spark a child’s sense of wonder with a camp designed to explore and connect with nature. Each day features hands-on art, playful discoveries, and simple science activities that bring the outdoors to life. Scavenger hunts, stories, and cooperative games build curiosity and teamwork.

Ocean Adventurers

Dive into the wonders of the ocean in this exciting camp for K–1 students. Children explore colourful sea creatures, ocean zones, and the unique marine life found along the West Coast while learning why protecting our oceans matters. Hands-on experiments and interactive activities make each day full of discovery and curiosity.

Mini Chefs

Welcome to the Mini Chefs program, designed for kids who want to learn to cook themselves! Children explore new recipes while practising measuring, mixing, and food safety with support from a licenced teacher. Healthy snacks and kitchen confidence grow all week long.

Luna Loves Tennis

In this introductory tennis camp, beginner and skilled young players learn through fundamental movement activities. Balance, jumping, throwing, catching, and racquet-and-ball skills are developed through games and drills. A certified teacher and senior school tennis students help make it a whack of fun! (Students are required to bring their own racquet)

Rainforest Explorers

Join Rainforest Explorers for a week of jungle discovery and adventure. Stories, crafts, and hands-on learning introduce the amazing animals and plants that live in the rainforest. Each day brings exploration, creativity, and new friendships.

Animation Adventures

This enchanting program is designed especially for young explorers inspired by the magical world of beloved animated films. Each day celebrates a different classic through storytelling, character crafts, and creative projects. Imagination and creativity are at the heart of every animated adventure, as students bring stories to life through crafting and imaginative play.

Young Engineers

Our technologically fast-paced world is in need of inventors and creators to keep up with the pace. Hands-on STEM activities help children develop creativity and critical thinking skills through fun experiments. Learning connects to everyday life while encouraging innovation and collaboration, as students create solutions through experimentation and critical thinking.

Mini Olympics

Run, jump, throw! Build a torch for the relay, hoist your flag for the Olympic ceremony, and learn about events. Activities include both individual sports and cooperative, team-building games. Perfect for active children who are developing gross motor skills.

Ready Readers

Jump into the world of stories and creativity at Ready Readers! Designed for kids in K-1, this camp makes reading and writing fun with engaging books. Through interactive storytelling, hands-on activities, and playful writing exercises, campers will practice reading and build confidence and skill in their literacy journey. From silly read-alouds to creating their own mini books, this camp is perfect for young readers who love to learn through fun and imagination!

Chefs-in-training Camp

Be a Chef-in-training with Chef Stacey and staff from our very own cafeteria. Children gain real-life skills in a kitchen settings while preparing menu items inspired by different cultures. This camp fills fast, so don’t hesitate.

Wolves on the Court

In this tennis program, students in Grades 2–4 will build strong foundational skills while growing their confidence on the court. Participants will practise rallying, footwork, racquet control, and game-based drills designed to strengthen coordination and overall technique. Led by a certified teacher and senior school tennis players, this active and supportive programme is guaranteed to be a whack of fun—please bring a racquet.

Drama-Rama

Drama-Rama is a laugh-out-loud, high-energy camp where creativity takes centre stage. Drama games, improv challenges, and playful acting activities keep everyone moving and engaged. Confidence and teamwork grow as big voices and bold expressions take the spotlight.

Global Trekkers

Global Trekkers is an adventurous camp where campers explore the world through hands-on activities, games, music, and crafts that bring each culture to life. They will try fun, kid-friendly cooking projects inspired by global flavors, create cultural crafts, and discover exciting traditions. Campers will build curiosity, creativity, and teamwork while enjoying a week full of discovery and adventure.

The Write Stuff

The Write Stuff is a fun and creative writing camp where young writers bring their ideas to life. Writing games, character creation, and imaginative prompts help shape stories and new worlds. Children develop confidence, find their voice, and enjoy sharing their work. Lead by a licensed teacher passionate about writing.

Cookies and Canvas

“You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” – Maya Angelou. This program combines creativity in the kitchen and the art room through baking, painting, collages, and mixed media. Expect a week that’s messy, yummy, and wonderfully inventive.

Engineer It!

Engineer It is a hands-on camp where children dive into exciting challenges and creative problem-solving. LEGO, makerspace tools, and building materials are used to design, test, and improve inventions. Teamwork and experimentation are part of every day.

Camp Swiftie

Calling all Swifties! The week is filled with friendship bracelets, songwriting, karaoke, and creative challenges. Music, imagination, and teamwork come together in a high-energy camp experience. It’s a week of fun, friendship, and unforgettable memories.

Ooey Gooey Weird Science

One of our most popular camps! Rockets, egg drops, goo creations, volcanoes, and wild experiments fill the week. Scientific principles are explored through hands-on testing, touching, and discovery. Expect messy fun and exciting learning every day.

Dungeons & Dragons

Step into a world of imagination and adventure, whether you’re brand new or a seasoned dungeon crawler. Character creation, epic quests, puzzles, and battles are guided by an experienced Dungeon Master. Teamwork and creativity shape the story as each choice helps decide what happens next.

Flour Power!

Get ready to mix, measure, and travel the world without leaving the kitchen. Each day features baking inspired by a different country, along with fun facts and cultural crafts. It’s a delicious week packed with creativity, discovery, and fun.

Wild & Wacky Art Lab

Wild and Wacky Art Lab is where creativity runs wild and imagination knows no limits. Unexpected materials and out-of-the-box techniques lead to colourful experiments and bold masterpieces. It’s perfect for artists who love to get creative, a little messy, and try something new.

Camp Splatter and Splash

Camp Splatter and Splash is a vibrant, creative adventure where young artists explore colour, movement, and a variety of unique art techniques. Watercolour washes, dynamic brushwork, playful splatter effects, and mixed-media projects help bring imaginative ideas to life. Each day encourages creativity, self-expression, and artistic exploration in exciting and hands-on ways.

Comic Creations

Step into the world of Comic Creations, where imagination takes the spotlight. Campers will dream up exciting characters, write their own stories, and learn how to turn ideas into graphic novels. Through drawing, planning, and storytelling, they will bring their comics to life one panel at a time. It is a creative week filled with art, laughter, and bold new adventures on every page.

Messy Masterpieces

Messy Masterpieces is the perfect place to get creative, experiment with art, and have plenty of messy fun. Mixed media projects use a variety of materials to encourage imagination and self-expression. From splatter painting to textured collages, it’s all about making art without worrying about staying clean.

Mega Fun

Get ready for the ultimate high-energy, off-campus adventure camp. Each day features exciting excursions such as bowling, swimming, waterparks, and mini-golf (activities may vary). Song-filled WPGA bus rides make the journey part of the fun. Limited space available!

Wilderness Survival

In this outdoor adventure camp, learn to create and build an emergency shelter, navigate using a map and compass, employ the principles of camouflage and concealment, light a fire, and even purify water without the use of a filtration system! Hike through Pacific Spirit Park and explore WPGA’s own urban forest!

Sports Stars

Amazing Race

Get ready for an action packed week of challenges, teamwork, and adventure at Amazing Race Camp. Campers will work in teams to solve clues, complete exciting tasks, and travel to different destinations using the school bus along the way. Each day brings new surprises that test creativity, problem solving, and collaboration. It is a high energy experience filled with movement, strategy, and fun.

The Science of Minecraft

Embark on a journey into science through the lens of Minecraft. Physics, chemistry, and engineering concepts are explored through hands-on, game-inspired challenges. Problem-solving and curiosity grow as students discover how the virtual world works.

Improv Camp

The world is your stage in this camp designed to encourage listening, collaboration, and risk-taking. Through theatre games and improvisation, comedic scenes build as ideas grow and change. Confidence develops in a supportive, creative environment.

Minecraft Coding

Enter a world of blocks, builds, and big ideas at Minecraft Coding Camp. Coding tools are used to design challenges, create custom worlds, and build new game features. Problem-solving grows through experimenting, testing, and improving creations.

The Splash Tour

Cool off this summer with The Splash Tour, where every day is a new water adventure. WPGA bus trips visit splash parks and beaches around Vancouver for sun, water parks, and sand. Each stop promises outdoor play and unforgettable summer memories.

LEGO Spike Coding

Gr. 3–7
Week 3 • AM

Get ready to build, code, and bring your ideas to life with LEGO Spike. Campers will design and create moving robots, solve fun challenges, and learn the basics of coding through hands on projects. Using teamwork and creativity, they will experiment, test, and improve their designs each day. It is an exciting way to explore engineering, problem solving, and innovation while having a blast.

Speak it up: Public Speaking

In this program, students learn tactics for structuring a speech and speaking clearly and confidently. Practice happens in a safe, supportive setting with feedback, games, and group activities. Teamwork, leadership, and confidence grow as voices get stronger.

Theatre Arts

Get ready to act, laugh, and unleash creativity at Theatre Arts Camp. Improv games, character play, and dramatic storytelling bring the stage to life in a supportive setting. Confidence and teamwork grow through playful performance.

Wally's Tennis World

Rally time! Smash serves from the baseline, work on your swing, and develop your volley in a camp for all skill levels. Red Cross Stay Safe - Home Alone Program

RED CROSS COURSE - This program is designed for students going into Grade 4 and above to help prepare for staying home alone. Real-life scenarios build age-appropriate safety skills, first aid awareness, and confident decision-making. Topics include weather, strangers, unanticipated visits, and being responsible for oneself.

Innovation Lab

Join Dr. Holowka from our Senior School this summer to learn the essential skills to take your child’s academic success to new heights. These fun short courses are designed to be taken à la carte or as a series, the courses are adjusted based on students' interests and levels. We will review key elements of the Google productivity suite, empowering your child for their academic journey. Students will showcase their projects by building websites using professional-level WordPress tools. Students will also develop 3D models that they will explore in Virtual and/or Augmented Reality (VR/AR). These are exceptional opportunities not to be missed!

WPGA Chef Camp

Exclusively offered one special week, learn to cook with Chef Stacey and Dining Hall staff. Bread baking, fresh butter, sushi rolling, and global dishes introduce technique, food safety, and confidence. It’s an unforgettable culinary adventure in a professional setting.

Hoop Heroes Basketball

Join us for an exciting camp experience where your child will enhance their basketball game through a diverse range of skills and drills. From mastering the fundamentals like passing, dribbling, and shooting to honing defensive strategies, rebounding techniques, and one-on-one maneuvers, our friendly environment ensures both learning and fun. This is an opportunity for your child to level up their skills and enjoy the game like never before!

Co-ed Volleyball

Week 3 • AM

Get ready to bump, set, and spike your way through an action-packed week of volleyball. Drills, mini-games, and friendly competitions help develop technique, teamwork, and strategy. Players of all skill levels build confidence and leave with a love for the game.

Red Cross Babysitting

Gr. 6–9
Week 1 • AM
Week 3 • AM

Earn your Canadian Red Cross Babysitting certification by learning basic first aid, child-care skills, and emergency preparedness. Students build confidence to stay safe when home alone and to care for younger children responsibly. Instruction is led by a certified teacher and Red Cross instructor.
