We invite all WPGA families and friends to our senior school drama production, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, which runs January 31-February 1, 7pm, at the Norman Rothstein Theatre. Play Synopsis: An eclectic group of six teens compete for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the youngsters spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. A riotous ride, complete with audience participation, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a delightful den of comedic genius. Rated PG-13.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students. To purchase, go to wpga.ca/spellingbee.
