International History Bowl & Bee Results

By Mr. Andrew Bendl, Head of Social Studies

On Saturday, February 23, WPGA hosted the regional International History Bee and Bowl for the 3rd year in a row.  This year's event was the largest we’ve hosted, with a total of 15 teams from across the Lower Mainland. WPGA did well, finishing either 3rd or 4th in the junior varsity division history bowl (we are awaiting the final point tally). Hamza Al-Muhaisen '20 placed 1st in the varsity history bee and Logan Higgins '22 placed 2nd in the geography bee.

Thanks to all participating students and a special thank-you to our varsity team members who are graduating and have been instrumental in getting Quiz Club off the ground and supporting IHBB since we started it several years ago.
