Junior School Sports Day

This event will take place rain or shine, please ensure students come dressed appropriately for the weather on the day. We invite all family members to attend Sports Day to watch and encourage our students as they participate in a variety of events.

Reminders 
  • All students (and parents!) are invited to dress in their house colours. Purchase house-themed accessories at the Junior School basketball court:
    • Accessories will be available on Sports Day at the Annex driveway starting at 9:00am
  • Parents who cannot attend Sports Day may still participate. To receive five house points, email Warren Lee (wlee@wpga.ca) a picture of you and your child in your house colours by 5pm on Thursday, June 1. 
  • A concession stand will open at 10:00am for snacks. Please send your child with change or small bills (no bigger than $5) in a ziplock bag clearly labelled with your child’s name and homeroom. 
  • Lunch is provided for students and meal selections will be completed in homerooms.  Options included hamburger, veggie hamburger, hotdog or veggie hotdog.  Each order comes with a cookie and a juicebox.  A huge thank you to the PVG for providing and organising this!
  • The student House Cheer will be taking place at 12:30pm on the Soccer Field.
  • Ensure your child is wearing sunscreen and a hat. If the weather is cool or rainy, dress your child in warm layers that can be removed as necessary.  
  • Please ensure that clothing, hats, and water bottles are clearly labelled with your child’s name and homeroom. 
  • All students will receive their lunches in their homerooms. If you plan to eat lunch with your child in a different location on campus, please notify your child’s teacher. Please do not take your child off campus. 
  • For the safety of our students, the school driveway will be closed all day.
