Crabtree Corner Candy Donation

By Leila, Deryn and Cece, Community Service Leaders

Happy Halloween, Wolves! We are a part of the Community Service Club and we’re here to tell you about an opportunity to donate some of your Halloween candy for a good cause. The candy donation is when you have extra candy. With this extra candy you can bring it to school in small plastic bags. It will be donated to Crabtree Corner.

Crabtree Corner is one of the four YWCA childcare centers in Vancouver. YWCA childcare centers provide high quality and affordable childcare for priority families. Crabtree Corners offers free, licensed care for children from six weeks to five years old up to twelve days a month. From Monday through Friday, families can send their children from 9:00-3:30. Hot meals with milk are provided by the staff. For more information, visit their website

Once you have your candy in the bags, make sure you deliver it to Mr Lee's office for a reward of ten house points! Happy trick or treating, Wolves!

Since 1996, West Point Grey Academy has gratefully resided on the Jericho Lands, the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Nation and sə̓lílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation. Honoured to learn and play on these beautiful lands, we endeavour to be a leader in Indigenous education. In creating shared understanding and opportunities, we hope to help foster a more equitable society for all.
