Congratulations to our 2026 Senior School Service Microgrant recipients: Ashley Chen, Ethan Bo, Elisse Szucs, Bella Li, Ilina Wu, Candice Geng, Lancy Lan, and Yuly Xu. We are incredibly proud of your initiative, leadership, and commitment to meaningful service.
The Service Microgrant program provides seed funding to student-led projects that address authentic community needs while promoting sustainability, accountability, and impact. These grants empower students to move from idea to action; developing proposals, managing budgets, and implementing initiatives that create tangible change.
This year’s projects reflect a thoughtful range of service: environmental stewardship, community care, creative outreach, and education-driven initiatives that aim to strengthen connection and compassion within and beyond WPGA. Over the coming months, these students will lead their projects, participate in mentorship and check-ins, and share their learning and impact with our community.
Well done to each of you for stepping forward and choosing to serve. Your leadership matters.
Since 1996, West Point Grey Academy has gratefully resided on the Jericho Lands, the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) Nation and sə̓lílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nation. Honoured to learn and play on these beautiful lands, we endeavour to be a leader in Indigenous education. In creating shared understanding and opportunities, we hope to help foster a more equitable society for all.
