Supporting the Middle Years with Dr. Rick Stevenson

At WPGA, we believe that a student's journey is defined by more than just milestones: it is shaped by their curiosity, character, and evolving sense of self. To support families through the transformative "middle years," we are pleased to host a special presentation for grades 5–9 parents.

Join alumni parent and researcher Dr. Rick Stevenson on Friday, April 10, in the Senior School Library Learning Commons. Drawing on insights from over 8,000 student interviews conducted through The 5000 Days Project, Dr. Stevenson will share professional perspectives on navigating the challenges of peer comparison and self-esteem, and the power of fostering resilience and emotional intelligence during this critical stage of identity formation.

Event Details:

  • Date: Friday, April 10, 2026
  • Time: 8:30am– 9:30am

Honoured to learn and play on these beautiful lands, we endeavour to be a leader in Indigenous education.
