Pre-Kindergarten Becomes Junior Kindergarten

After a great deal of thoughtful consideration, West Point Grey Academy has changed the name of its four year-old programme from pre-kindergarten to junior kindergarten.

The name junior kindergarten is a closer reflection of the academic, four pillar programme which has been designed for this age group and currently being taught at West Point Grey Academy. Junior kindergarten is also a more universal term for a four year old programme, and sets the school up for meaningful interaction with other junior kindergarten programmes on an international level.

As a school, we will be making the necessary changes on all documents and communication referring to the junior kindergarten programme over the next few weeks.  Please do not hestitate to contact Ms. Sali with any questions or for further information.
