Junior Swim Team Competes in Victoria

On Monday, January 19, our grades 3 and 4 swim team (and coaches and teachers!) woke up bright and early to take the ferry to Victoria for the day, where our 57 athletes competed at the Victoria Swim Jamboree in four events each, with some fun relays. They swam amazingly well, and the team is excited for the next meet: the WPGA Invitational on February 5.

Lakelyn: I loved going on the ferry with the team to somewhere outside of Vancouver! It was fun to compete in Victoria and we even got to do fun relays with hula hoops!

Charley: I loved how cold the pool was! It was refreshing to swim in and made me swim fast. I was also really excited that I got to swim 25m breaststroke!

Shelton: My favourite part of the swim meet was getting to go on the ferry with all my friends! We had so much fun playing games together.
