Arts Week Parent Gallery Walk—April 17, 2026

By Mr. Jamie Caton, Grade 6 Teacher

In the Junior School, our Arts Week Committee is planning many fun and engaging activities for the week of April 13–17. This year, we are inviting parents to be part of the celebrations on Friday, April 17, 8:30am-12pm, by sharing an arts-inspired display with our school community through a gallery walk. Small groups of students will visit your table to view your artwork, and you are welcome to offer a short explanation or demonstration of your creative process. Students from kindergarten through grade 7 will be visiting the displays, so we kindly ask that all materials and demonstrations be age-appropriate.

Whether you or a felting artist or enjoy gelatin art, Chinese paper cutting (Jianzhi, 剪紙), Bento art, Japanese calligraphy art (Shodō, 書道), fibre arts, watercolour or oil painting, or any other form of creative expression, we would love to celebrate the artistic talents of our parent community.

If you are interested in participating, please complete this form by Friday, March 27. We will try to accommodate as many submissions as possible. If you have any questions, please connect with Mr. Caton. Thank you for your consideration!
