Drop-off, Pick-up & Parking

DROP-OFF & PICK-UP PARKING  

To ensure optimal traffic flow and safety, families must drop-off and pick-up in the grade-designated areas: 
  • JK/Kindergarten: Lower 8th Ave Parking Lot
  • Grades 1-7 Parking: 4th Ave Parking Lot (enter/exit off 4th Ave (preferable); or drive to 4th Ave via the road north from our school driveway off 8th Ave
  • Only those with parking passes (such as with an injured child) may park in visitor parking across from the Junior School. To request a short-term parking pass, contact Shaun Lum, Security Coordinator. 

ARRIVAL TIMES & LOCATIONS  

  • JK-5 classes meet outside at the designated locations (map).
    • JK: 8:30-9am (outside JK door)
    • Kindergarten: 8:25-8:35am (upper primary playground)
    • Grades 1-3: 8:25am (JS basketball courts)
    • Grades 4-5: 8:15am (tents behind JS)
  • Grade 6 and 7 will be able to enter the JS building from 8am.  Students will go to the Learning Commons until classrooms open at 8:10am. All tech will be away and not in use. Homeroom will begin at 8:15am with attendance taken at 8:20am.

DISMISSAL TIMES & LOCATIONS  

Parents may enter the buildings at 3:30pm. 
  • JK, 2:30-3:30pm (at the homeroom classroom) 
  • Primary (K-3), 3:30 (at the homeroom classroom)
  • Intermediate (Grades 4-7): 3:30pm. Students will be dismissed from their homerooms and may meet their parents outside. If families need to enter the buildings for another reason, they are welcome inside. 

ELECTRIC CHARGERS

WPGA has electric vehicle charging stations in the JK/K parking lot and across from the Junior School that are reserved for our electric school buses and for limited staff use. The chargers are not for public use.
