Looking back, what’s a moment at WPGA that has stayed with you — one that shaped who you are today?

The first time our tennis team made it to the Provincials was memorable. Although we initially secured our spot by volunteering to host, it put our program on the map, and we've participated in the Provincials every year since.

What does the WPGA community mean to you and why?

WPGA truly feels like "home" after 30 years of witnessing students mature, learn, and grow. Some have even returned to work at the school, completing a full circle of happiness.

How have you seen WPGA grow or change over the years—and what has remained the same?

Our programs have evolved, not just in participation, but in quality, achievement, and success. What has remained constant is the tone, the feel, and the sense of community. Grey Wolves continue to look out for each other across the school, encompassing students, staff, parents, and alumni.

What’s one lesson or value from WPGA that you carry into your life beyond school?

The importance of having the right people to work, learn, and share with cannot be overstated. While qualifications, degrees, and experience matter, the ability to connect and share with others is far more valuable.

As we celebrate 30 years, what’s your hope or vision for the next 30?

As the school evolves, it's crucial to retain the unique culture established over the past 30 years. I hope future administrators remember what has contributed to the warmth, humility, and confidence that define our school.

Honoured to learn and play on these beautiful lands, we endeavour to be a leader in Indigenous education. In creating shared understanding and opportunities, we hope to help foster a more equitable society for all.
